Tony Khan has frequent conversations with Warner about the ROH TV show


Tony Khan has a lot going on right now. Other than running AEW successfully. He was successful in trying to relaunch another wrestling brand, Ring of Honor, on another network, in addition to renewing AEW’s TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. Now it’s here with updates.

While speaking on the “In The Kliq” podcast to promote tonight’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam show, Khan gave an update on Ring of Honor’s future TV deal. He is optimistic and discusses with Warner Bros. Discovery of the brand.

“If we could revive weekly television, it would be even stronger. So regardless of where it ends, TV streaming, I’d love to bring Ring of Honor back on a weekly basis and that’s a conversation I have quite frequently with Warner Brothers Discovery.

Khan spoke about the NBC Universal and Warner Bros. merger rumors. Discovery after 2024. He won’t speculate but praised WBD for being strong content creators.

“I certainly couldn’t speculate on that and I never would speculate on that. I’m very happy with what we have right now. We have this great leadership from Discovery that has come in and taken over, working with great leadership from Warner Brothers and now we have this very strong company Warner Brothers Discovery which is the biggest content creator in the world and they’re showcasing AEW more that we have never been introduced to before.
