City Councilor Robert Holden took to Facebook to alert his constituents to the film schedule last week. Some residents responded to the publication annoyed that the filming is disrupting their neighborhood.

One resident wrote, “The movie company should reimburse every store that loses business because it takes up all of the parking lot. To avoid this, they would have to run their show overnight.

Another wrote: “The film industry generates millions in tax revenue and employs a lot of people. If you need to park a block away someday, that’s okay.

Directors frequently use this area of Queens for filming. Ridgewood was used to film “Law & Order”, “Boardwalk Empire” and “The Irishman” by Martin Scorsese.
