Station Eleven teaser features HBO Max’s post-apocalyptic miniseries


HBO Max published the first Eleven station teaser for the upcoming limited-series adaptation of the acclaimed sci-fi drama novel of the same name. Starring Mackenzie Davis and Himesh Patel, the series is set to debut on Thursday, December 16.

The video, which you can watch below, teases the drama’s multiple plots that highlight a post-apocalyptic world that will be told through the eyes of survivors in different timelines.

Based on the 2014 novel by Emily St. John Mandel, Eleven station is written, created and produced by Maniacal creator Patrick Somerville, who is also the showrunner. The 10-episode drama stars Mackenzie Davis, Himesh Patel, Daniel Zovatto, David Wilmot, Matilda Lawler, Philippine Velge, Nabhaan Rizwan and Lori Petty, with Gael Garcìa Bernal and Danielle Deadwyler to reproduce.

“A post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, this limited drama series tells the stories of survivors of devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reinvent the world while retaining the best of what has been lost,” reads -on in the official synopsis.

Eleven station is a Paramount Television production. It is led by AtlantaHiro Murai and Jeremy Podeswa, both of whom are executive producers on the project along with Scott Steindorff, Scott Delman, Dylan Russell, Jessica Rhoades, Nate Matteson and Nick Cuse. Alongside Murai and Podeswar as directors, Helen Shaver and Lucy Tcherniak.
