Shoot United Initiative launches series of events in partnership with local ranges

“We work directly with shooting ranges to collaborate on events where attendees can get advice, training and education,” said Jason Gilbertson, director of marketing for Shoot United. “They also gain confidence, knowledge and new friends in the process.”

More than 60 million people participate in shooting sports each year, making it one of the nation’s most popular recreational activities, yet millions more are not exposed to the personal and professional benefits of being involved in the shooting sports community.

Shoot United aims to provide content and resources for those beginning their journey by offering a wide range of easy-to-understand content regarding firearms, safety, and how to enjoy and participate in these activities. And now a series of Shoot United events are taking place across the country.

“There is a strong need, as well as a responsibility, to share accurate and useful information regarding shooting sports, which is the foundation of this initiative,” said Shoot United Chief Marketing Officer Jason Gilbertson. “We work directly with shooting ranges who are willing to collaborate on inviting, hands-on, and fun events for people who are just starting out as gun owners. The aim is to entice people to sign up and enable them to get advice, training and education. In return, they will gain confidence, knowledge and new friends in the process. »
