During his recent chat with Superstar Crossover, six-time former WWE Tag Team Champion Road Dogg shared his thoughts on the current course of WWE programming. Road Dogg also discussed the differences between WWE and AEW weekly schedules, and more. Check out the highlights below.
On current WWE talent:
“If you come to this show, what you see, and it really is, all of our top talent and you mentioned at the top of that pile is The Bloodline and Sami Zayn. Man look, Sami and Roman, and some of those behind the scenes stuff was invaluable. I mean, award-winning nominations. It was like watching a TV show or a movie. But those are the two guys that I know and love. I just think there’s magic there with even the dynamic of one Uso not liking it and the other it’s TV gold, and I love watching it , I’d love to be part of the creation even more. But that’s not my job right now.”
On WWE vs. AEW:
“Man, it’s so fun to watch, and it’s a commonplace for me to say that this company is the best and the other one isn’t. But their TV show is not smooth. It’s not. Things don’t connect, I don’t know, I just can’t follow their TV show. When I look [Raw] now, I admit, three hours of Raw used to be a challenge. It used to be a challenge, but over the past three months it’s been a joy to watch and a breeze to navigate and SmackDown is even easier. I don’t know, I love what I do, man.
