Q and Chingari team up for first virtual TV show audition in India


The Q, India’s fastest growing general entertainment channel, featured on digital, social and TV platforms, announces the launch of its first crime fiction show – Jurm Ka Chehra, marking The Q’s foray into the genre. Mobilize the economy of digital creators, and in collaboration with Chingari, The Q successfully hosted India’s first-ever virtual audition for the upcoming crime fiction show on the leading short film video platform. Jurm Ka Chehra will premiere on Saturday September 4, 2021 at 9 p.m. and will then be broadcast on weekends at the same time exclusively on The Q.

Providing the digital creator community with an opportunity and a platform to make their television debut, Chingari users were invited to send their auditions to The Q in the form of films and monologues directly on the platform. . With a strong and growing presence in the digital and TV space, The Q aims to close open loops and create an interdependent, content-driven ecosystem for viewers across India. After auditioning on Chingari for 20 days with an “Age no Bar” approach, over 47,000 users participated in a role in Jurm Ka Chehra and garnered over a billion impressions. Following this audition process, 4 Chingari users – The Girish of Nanded, Rubulrox from Assam, Pornima Garg from Lucknow and Rajesh Singhal from Rajasthan are the finalists who landed a role in the upcoming crime fiction show on The Q which will be hosted by Kinshuk Vaidya.

Host Kinshuk Vaidya will take viewers through unheard of, weird and intriguing cases in each hour-long episode, making them more aware of such events in societies.
