The series returns to the iconic cult classic, The Godfather.
Paramount+ today revealed the official trailer for its original limited event series. The offerbased on the Oscar-winning producer Albert S.Ruddy extraordinary and unprecedented experiences of making the legendary, The Godfather.
The offer will premiere Friday, April 29, exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers.
The first three episodes of the 10-episode series will be available to stream at launch. After the premiere, the remaining seven episodes will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays.
The stars of the series Miles Teller as Albert S. Ruddy, Matthew Goode like Robert Evans, Temple of Juno like Betty McCartt, John Ribisi like Joe Colombo, Dan Foger like Francis Ford Coppola, Burn Gorman like Charles Bluhdorn, Colin Hank like Barry Lapidus and Patrick Gallo like Mario Puzo.
From Paramount Television Studios, the 10-episode event series is written and produced by Nikki Toscano (Hunters), which serves as showrunner, and created and written by an Oscar and Emmy nominated writer Michael Tolkin (Escape to Dannemora, The player).
Besides Tolkin and Toscano, two-time Oscar winner Albert S. Ruddy, Miles Teller, Russell Rothberg and Leslie Greifwho also developed the series, serves as an executive producer alongside Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman), who also directed the first block of the series.
