Melissa Barrera Gets Stuck in Netflix Miniseries


netflix released an official trailer for keep breathinghis upcoming survival drama miniseries featuring Scream actress Melissa Barrera. The series is set to debut on Thursday, July 28.

The video, which you can watch below, features a woman who, after surviving a plane crash, must now try to keep herself alive in the middle of the Canadian wilderness. He also teases the things she will do to survive. As she struggles with exhaustion and despair, she reminisces about different moments in her life, including the happy ones and the most painful ones.

The limited series is written and created by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall, who are also set as showrunners. Joining Barrera are Jeff Wilbusch, Austin Stowell, Juan Pablo Espinosa and Florencia Lozano.

“After her private plane crashes at the remote Canadian border, New York’s sole survivor and lawyer, Liv, must battle both an unforgiving wilderness and past personal trauma to stay alive,” it read. in the synopsis.

keep breathing is directed by Maggie Kiley and Rebecca Rodriguez. It is produced by Warner Bros. Television, with Kiley, Gero and Gall serving as executive producers.

Barrera first gained recognition for her starring role as Lyn Hernandez on the Starz series Vida. She lands her first major Hollywood feature with Jon M. Chu’s musical drama In the heights. The Mexican actress recently starred in the fifth episode of Screamand will reprise his role as Sam Carpenter in the follow-up sequel.
