Last Light Trailer Features Peacock’s Thriller Miniseries


Peacock released an official trailer for the last lighthis upcoming disaster thriller limited drama series featuring Lost former Matthew Fox. The five-episode series will be available to stream on September 8.

The the last light trailer, which you can check out below, highlights the impending start of a post-apocalyptic event caused by a global oil crisis. Expert Andy Yeats predicts chaos will follow once his theory of declining global oil supply is proven.

Based on Alex Scarrow’s bestselling novel of the same name, the last light is made and produced by Jack Ryanis Dennie Gordon. Joining Fox are Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) as Elena Yeats, Alyth Ross (tracks) as Laura Yeats, Taylor Fay (Judge Rinder) as Sam Yeats, Amber Rose Revah (The Punisher) like Mika, Victor Alli (Belfast) as Owen Jones, Tom Wlaschiha (stranger things) as Karl, and Hakeem Jomah (Kidnap) as Khalil Al-Qatani.

“In the series, petrochemist Andy Yeats knows how dependent the world is on oil; if anything were to happen to the world’s oil supply, it would set off a chain reaction: transportation would stop, supplies would stop being delivered, law enforcement would be overwhelmed,” the synopsis reads. . “While on a business trip to the Middle East, Andy realizes his worst fears are coming true and his family is separated at this crucial time. His teenage daughter, Laura, is home alone in London while his wife, Elena, and young son, Sam, are in Paris. In the midst of this chaos, each member of the family will sacrifice everything to find each other, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them.

The miniseries is produced by Fox, William Choi, Sydney Gallonde, Rikke Ennis, Patrick Renault, Diego Piasek, Patrick Massett, John Zinman, Rola Bauer and Steven Johnson.
