After returning to the galaxy far, far away in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and see a younger version in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Lando Calrissian finally has his own story.
During the busy Disney Investor Day event, Kathleen Kennedy confirmed that the galaxy’s favorite villain is getting her own series of events on Disney +. There are no details at the time of reporting on the premiere date of this series, but Dear Whites creator Justin Simien is in the early stages of project development.
Fans are curious if the series will see original performer Billy Dee Williams return in the role, or if Donald Glover will resume his take on 2018. Solo: A Star Wars Story. Rumors already suggest that the show will feature both as it will flash in time.
Star Wars: Lando is one of the many new Star wars shows announced for Disney + alongside The Mandalorian spin off Star Wars: Ashoka series and Star Wars: Rangers of the New Republic, Star Wars: Andor, and Star Wars: Obi Wan Kenobi – which will feature the return of Hayden Christensen.
