HCSO will be featured on the COPS TV Show, Season 33


Sheriff Jim Hammond, Deputy Chief Austin Garrett and the men and women of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office announce that the agency has once again been chosen to appear on the COPS TV show. COPS film crews rode with MPs from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for approximately nine weeks starting in September 2020 to film Season 33 and captured plenty of storylines and incident footage for their TV series. A total of five episodes were filmed and will air from mid-November.

In a new deal announced on September 13, COPS TV has now found an exclusive new home on Fox Nation, Fox’s subscription streaming service.

This will be the second time in four years that COPS has chosen to film HCSO staff in their hit television series. In 2018, the COPS executive producer flew out to meet with command staff, PR staff and Sheriff Hammond to discuss final preparations for filming. Since that time, the agency has maintained a positive working relationship with the management of the COPS and the producers.
