The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) and the Sydney Office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) have joined forces to organize a series of events for CATO members in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The events will kick off in Melbourne on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Intrepid Group Headquarters, where CATO members will hear from Intrepid Co-Founder Geoff Manchester about the benefits of B-Corp certification.

For the Brisbane event, CATO members will hear from Alissa O’Connell, Global Head of People and Culture, Flight Center Travel Group, on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Mojo’s Bistro, to preview the acquisition of talent and employee retention in the current climate.

The trio of events will culminate in Sydney on Wednesday, October 19 where CATO Vice President Lisa Pagotto will host a Korean-style banquet, sharing insights in conversation with senior members of the KTO team.

“These events are part of CATO’s renewed focus on providing valuable networking opportunities and support to members as they continue to emerge from COVID, and we are grateful for KTO Sydney’s support,” said CATO General Manager Brett Jardine.

Insook Lee, Director of the Sydney Office of the Korea Tourism Organization, added: “We are delighted to partner with CATO to showcase South Korea and highlight the variety of adventures that can be enjoyed, the exciting gastronomy as well as Korea’s unique natural assets.
