Bandcamp Hits the Road for “Bandcamp Social” Live Event Series

Bandcamp is hosting a series of live events this fall. The goal is to meet artists and labels, share tips on the best ways to use Bandcamp, and gather feedback.

In each city, there will be two sessions; one educational and the other social.

The events will take place in Philadelphia on 10.26, NYC on 10.27, Boston on 11.1 and Toronto on 11.3. There are already rumors that the tour will be extended to hit more cities.

At each stop, the schedule will be the same:

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.: “Ask us anything how to improve the presence of your artist or label on Bandcamp. Chat with the Bandcamp team for tips, tricks and ideas on a range of topics, including how to introduce the editorial team, grow your fan base through shows and album release parties on Bandcamp Live, creating vinyl quickly and without any down payment, and how you can trick your account to really get fans’ attention.

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.: “Bandcamp Social with food, drink and conversation with a wide range of folks from Bandcamp and other local artists and labels. We’ll ask for your opinion on Bandcamp, and you can tell us about your latest projects. We will also keep you updated on recent developments and upcoming features.

Space is limited, so if you’re interested, RSVP now at the link for each city listed below.
